William Wright

William began his career in the financial services industry over three decades ago as a life insurance agent, receiving his securities licenses in 1983 and CFP® designation in 1987. Over the years he’s played an integral role in helping financial professionals develop and grow their business. He is a thought leader in the financial services industry and a sought after speaker for insurance and broker dealer conferences. William has a vast understanding of the core fundamentals that accelerate growth in a financial advisor’s business, including the required elements of planning, performing and prospecting. Many leading financial professionals have partnered with William for motivation and wisdom on how to revitalize their business, retool their process and refocus their energy to create a higher performing and more purposeful business. William has been touted as an “astute and gracious collaborator” as his primary focus and the measurement of his own success is based on the achievements of others.

Lauren Wright

Lauren has been a team member since the incorporation of FPG in May of 1997. She started as an office manager before heading the FP Relations Department for 6 years. She is now Vice President, working in the Life Insurance Marketing Department to serve and support our Financial Professionals with their case design and marketing needs. Lauren is also responsible for educating advisors on client planning solutions and product information via phone communication, email announcements, and webcasts. Lauren holds a California Life Insurance License and Series 6 & 63 NASD licenses. She is currently working to obtain a CLU and a ChFC designation.

Josh Garland

Josh Garland joined the FPG team in 2009 as the Director of Annuity Marketing. Since he began with FPG he has outperformed all previous company records for single largest annuity case, single largest month and year of annuity production. He is the creator of the FPG 3-Part Series | Annuity and the FPG QuickClass™. One of his strengths is taking a complex annuity concept and presenting it in a way that is easy to understand and explain to clients. Josh obtained the Chartered Financial Consultant Designation (ChFC®) in 2013, holds a California Life Insurance License, and is currently working to obtain his CLU designation.

Mike Van Horn

Specializing in licensing and commissions, Mike has over eight years in the insurance industry. He joined FPG in early 2014 as the Director of FP Relations. While appointing advisors with carriers is his primary responsibility, he also investigates producer commission inquiries and oversees system enhancements such as the implementation SmartView for Advisors. SmartView allows FPG advisors the ability to view and check on the status of their pending and existing cases. Mike has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Management with an option in Finance from California State University, Chico.

Justin Wright

Justin joined FPG in 2009 as a Director of Life Insurance Marketing. His key area of expertise is in supporting financial professionals on their clients’ life insurance, estate planning and comprehensive planning needs. He is a graduate of UC San Diego, and holds a California Life Insurance License as well as the Series 7 & 66 FINRA securities licenses. Justin has also earned the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). Justin is strong at interpreting the details involved in the case design process, and is well educated in financial planning concepts and strategies. His advisor service philosophy is to provide a responsive, objective, creative and client-focused approach in recommending life insurance based solutions. He most enjoys teaching advisors about the various planning concepts and solutions available and helping them implement those solutions into their practice to directly benefit clients.

Abby Rediger

Abby has over 10 years of experience working in the disability insurance marketplace. At FPG, she is dedicated to helping producers grow their individual disability sales and come up with innovative solutions to help clients protect their income. Her experience includes case design, advanced underwriting, competition analysis, and sales/marketing. Abby is committed to a specialized service that makes disability insurance affordable and easy to understand. Prior to her affiliation with FPG, she worked for Principal Financial Group as a Senior Internal Wholesaler. Abby completed her undergraduate studies in Business Management with a focus on Marketing and has her MBA from Drake University.

Greg Reed

Greg Reed joined the FPG team in 2013 as a Life Marketing Consultant. With a background in fitness, where success is measured by noticeable results, he knows follow-through is imperative with any project. A high attention to detail and genuine demeanor, he is dedicated to providing the best solutions for clients while giving agents the support needed to succeed. Greg takes pride in the FPG Insurance Portfolio Analysis and Case Design Advantage. He takes on the challenge of analyzing old policies to ensure they’re up to date and performing optimally. In some cases, he’s able to suggest a better suited product that places clients in a much more favorable financial position. Through the Case Design Advantage, Greg instills confidence by providing necessary resources and education on the inside workings of Life Insurance products in a step by step process that makes it easy to understand and convey to clients. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from CSU Fullerton, his sights are set on the CFP certification.

Joslynn Brown

Joslynn joined FPG in August of 2007 as New Business Coordinator. With four years of previous experience as New Business Case Owner at Pacific Life, she fit right into her role on the team. She is responsible for processing all incoming applications from submission to issue, ensuring that medical exams and reports are ordered and providing current status on pending cases. Joslynn is happy to help all of our financial professionals with their new business needs.

Erin Yates

Erin’s role as New Business Case Manager allows her to work with our financial professionals to provide case management support for pending application processing and completion. She works closely with the insurance carriers to negotiate the best underwriting offers for the clients and works hard to have cases closed in a timely manner. Prior to joining the FPG team in July of 2010, Erin worked at an Elementary School as a teacher’s assistant to the RSP Program and at Pathfinders Learning Center, helping learning-disabled children improve their reading and writing skills.
